Sueño de medianoche

I was worried the fruit would make this too sweet, but the green and black tea base keeps it nicely balanced. The strawberry bits come through more than the pineapple, which I actually prefer. Been drinking it iced all week.

The little pineapple and papaya bits actually come through once it cools a bit, which I didn't expect from a tea with black tea in the base. I've been drinking it iced on hot afternoons and the strawberry sweetness keeps it from tasting too grassy.

I’ve been steeping this after dinner every night and the mix of green and black tea gives a really smooth base that isn’t too bitter. The candied fruit bits actually hold their flavor through a second cup, which surprised me. Great for when you want something fruity but not overly sweet.
