Rooibos Mirage

The green rooibos keeps this from tasting too heavy, which I appreciate since I drink it most evenings. Cactus blossom is an unusual addition but it works, giving the citrus a softer edge. Zero caffeine means I can have a cup at 9pm and still sleep fine.

The orange and vanilla come through first, then the lemon kind of lingers at the end. I drink it at night since there's no caffeine, and it's become the thing I look forward to after my kids are finally asleep. Cactus blossom is an odd one but it works.

The vanilla and citrus balance each other perfectly without either one being too sweet or too sharp, and the green rooibos gives it a lighter finish than most red-only blends. I’ve been brewing a pot every afternoon and it’s become the calmest part of my day.
