I expected the chocolate to be subtle but the cocoa truffle flavor is really upfront, like dessert in a mug. The cocoa bean pieces settle at the bottom, so the last few sips are the richest part.

The cocoa bean pieces actually show up in the cup, little flecks that make it feel richer than a plain rooibos. I do wish the chocolate came through a bit stronger once it's brewed, since it smells more like truffle than it tastes. Still, it's caffeine-free and I've been having it most evenings.
